Hotel Group Bookings

These Group Terms are in addition to the Terms and Conditions of Bannatyne Hotels Limited (“General Terms”) and apply only to reservations of six or more rooms. Please note that the General Terms apply to all reservations, regardless of the number of rooms booked. To see the General Terms, please click here

In these Group Terms, “Bannatyne” means Bannatyne Hotels Limited, a company registered in England and Wales with company registration number 03271621, whose registered office address is Power House, Haughton Road, Darlington, County Durham, DL1 1ST.

For the purposes of these Terms, a reservation for six or more hotel rooms includes rooms booked separately under the same name. 

  1. Pre-payment

    1. If you wish to make a booking of six bedrooms or more, Bannatyne requires pre-payment in full for all rooms: 

      1. Bookings of 6 to 10 rooms: at least 14 days in advance of the start date of your booking; and

      2. Bookings of 11+ rooms: at least 21 days in advance of the start date of your booking.  

    2. If Bannatyne has not received the full pre-paid amount by the dates set out in clause 1.1, it will treat the reservation as cancelled. In such circumstances, any amounts that you had already pre-paid will be returned to you within 7 days. 

 

  1. Changes

    1. Changes can be made to your reservation without charge depending on the number of rooms booked and the notice you give us of the change:

      1. Bookings of 6 to 10 rooms: can be changed free of charge up to 7 days prior to the start date of your booking; 

      2. Bookings of 11 to 20 rooms: can be changed free of charge up to 14 days prior to the start date of your booking; and

      3. Bookings of 21+ rooms: can be changed free of charge up to 21 days prior to the start date of your booking. 

    2. If you need to change your reservation within the periods set out in clause 2.1, Bannatyne will charge a reasonable administration charge. 

    3. Please note that this clause 2 only applies to changes to your reservation, such as changes to the names of guests or an increase in the number of rooms booked. If you need to cancel all or part of the rooms in your reservation or if you need to change the dates of your booking, clause 3 applies. 

  1. Cancellations

    1. If you need to cancel all or part of the rooms you have booked, a charge may apply based on the notice you give us of the cancellation. The charge is a percentage of the cost of the reservation that you have (or are due) to pay:

      1. Room(s) cancelled between 1 and 7 days of the start date of booking: cancellation charge 100%; 

      2. Room(s) cancelled between 8 and 13 days of the start date of booking: cancellation charge 75%; 

      3. Room(s) cancelled between 14 and 21 days of the start date of booking: cancellation charge 50%; and

      4. Room(s) cancelled 22 days or more of the start date of booking: a cancellation charge does not apply. 

  1. Bannatyne will attempt to re-let the rooms that you have cancelled, and if it is successful, it will provide a pro rata refund to you of any cancellation charges you have incurred for each room it has re-let, after the deduction of reasonable administration charges.
