The Bannatyne health club in Bury St Edmunds is expanding its fitness classes to react to the current pandemic restrictions with the introduction of outdoor bootcamp classes.
The outdoor bootcamp sessions will take place on weekdays. Up to eight people can safely participate in the classes in the extensive grounds of the health club.
Daryl Johnson, general manager at the Bannatyne Health Club Bury St Edmunds, said: “Members have embraced our new procedures since re-opening as they understand we need to keep them and our staff safe.
“Classes within the club are still going ahead but with smaller groups to ensure social distancing so we decided to utilise the fabulous outdoor areas we have and, weather permitting, add bootcamp classes outside where we can have more people participating in a safe manner.”
“The new class environment has proved very popular already with members and we’ve been delighted with the take up.”
