Lyndon is aiming for gold in Tokyo!

Lyndon Longhorne, a member of our Chester Le Street club, is soon to be a Paralympian!

We would like to say a huge congratulations to Lyndon, who was recently selected to represent Team GB at the Paralympic Games in Tokyo in August. Lyndon has dedicated the last 10 years to training, to help achieve his dream of becoming a Paralympian and a couple of weeks ago it finally happened for him!

Lyndon flies out to Suzuka on the 10th of August and starts competing from the 24th. He has a very hectic schedule coming up, as he is competing on race days 1,2,4,6,9 and 10 in the following six different disciplines:

50m Breaststroke SB3

4x50m mixed relay 20 points

200m Freestyle S4

50m freestyle S4

50m Backstroke S4

150m Individual Medley SM4
