Bannatyne member wins hero award

Bannatyne member wins hero award

A massive well done to our Lowestoft member Jonny Lee who has recently won the Nike Active School Hero Award for England at the UK Active Awards meeting

Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson (UK Active Chair)

Speaking to Jonny about his award he said: 'I spend my working day teaching children about the importance of daily exercise and the benefits that it has on their
physical and mental health. Children should be getting at least 60 minutes of exercise a day.
“I aim to practise what I preach and I train at my local Lowestoft Bannatyne's gym in the evenings, after the school day is over, to get in my own daily exercise. I’ve been
a member here for many years. The facilities at the gym are modern and brilliant and
the staff are all great and helpful. The gym has everything that I need for my own daily workouts.

“Going to the gym regularly after work gives me so much physical and mental energy which I can apply in my daily working life and I would advise everyone to get a gym
membership if they haven’t already got one. Regular exercise is so important for your health and it should be a big part of your lifestyle & we couldn't have said it
better ourselves!!
Well done again Jonny on your award and constant enthusiasm. We love to see our members being recognised for the hardwork they put in.
