A bit about me

Before qualifying as a Personal Trainer, I spent the past 6 years working in HR in London, so understand the difficulty and pressure of balancing a busy, and often inactive lifestyle. Also, as a recent mum I recognise the impact this has both physically and mentally , and how daunting it can be to start exercising afterwards.

I have always enjoyed looking for new ways to keep fit, whether it be boxing, yoga or going to the gym. I believe that keeping fit should be something that is both fun and rewarding, it’s about finding something that suits you as an individual.

Diet is also a very important part of achieving a healthy lifestyle, I believe that nutrition is less about cutting out what you can't eat and more about providing you with the knowledge and skills for healthy, happy eating without too many limitations. I love discovering (and trying!) new recipes and ingredients A healthy diet not only helps you achieve your fitness goals, but it will also improve your overall wellbeing.

"I joined the gym in November 2017, having not exercised for about 15 years. My objective was to be much fitter, I was approximately 4 stone over weight, extremely unfit, found it difficult to even get up off the floor once down on it. I knew I would need to have additional motivation and help if I were to get fitter, lose weight and continue to use the gym on a regular basis. I work out with Georgia twice a week now having started with just one session per week. 

Georgia creates a different work out programme each session, which usually consists of various circuit training moves. As this is the personal training I enjoy doing most. Georgia listens to your preferences for working out and always seems to come up with something you actually want to do. Georgia has empathy with you but still pushes you to do more than you think you can achieve. 

My fitness has really improved since I started training with Georgia and I am really enjoying my gym sessions even when I am not being trained by her, as she has given me so many ideas for training on my own. I hope to continue training with Georgia for a long time to come. Without her help and support I don't think I would still be coming to the gym, it would be just too easy to stop without the motivation from her. "
