We are providing a unique opportunity to work at Duncan Bannatyne's signature hotel and alongside our newly appointed, Masterchef Quarter Finalist Matei Baran.

Commis Chef – Casual hours per week including evenings and weekends.
Job purpose: To assist in managing the kitchen in a professional manner, and to consistently produce food to the standard specified.
Following the requirements of kitchen hygiene and food monitoringStock rotation and reduction of food wasteEnsuring a smooth and professional food serviceRunning of each area of the kitchen as requiredInforming the senior chef of requirements for orderingTo work within Health & Safety Regulations, and all other legislative constraints and to report any breaches to managementAdditional duties: To promote teamwork within own and other departments Customer Service to both internal and external customers
Main responsibilities: Being fully prepared before each service and letting the senior Chef know if there are any issues Kitchen hygiene, health and safety, and food monitoring Maintaining required food quality and presentation standards Following instruction and recipes provided
