It’s Mental Health Awareness Week and our Braintree club has shared a story to help raise awareness of how fitness can help improve your mental health! Olivia, a member of the Braintree club, has told us how the reopening of the Bannatyne health club has helped her and improved her mental health.
She said: “Because of the pandemic, I have been working from home since August 2020 and have felt isolated the whole time and alone. When the gyms closed through winter, I really struggled mentally to get through some days. Since they reopened, my whole attitude and mood has been happier, there is nothing better after a long day with clients coming to the gym and lifting some weights and just going into my own little world for that hour or two I’m in there.”
