Set in the heart of the Mendips, join us for a quiet, relaxing break or a decadent treat for the whole family. A perfect combination of Christmas cheer, roaring fires and fine cuisine. Let us take the strain out of Christmas and indulge in our three night festive break.

Arrive on Christmas Eve at your leisure throughout the afternoon. Relax, unpack and enjoy your complimentary Christmas hamper filled with some local goodies. Join us in the drawing room for mulled wine and carols from our local choir. Dinner will be served before heading off to midnight Mass at Wells Cathedral.

Begin Christmas Day with breakfast and a stroll around the gardens. Join us for a four course traditional Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, afterwards settle in the drawing room with coffee and mince pies to watch the Queens speech followed by a family favourite film. During the evening cosy up to the roaring fire and our delicious festive buffet supper will be served for you to enjoy at your leisure.

Start Boxing Day with a lie in before you indulge in a hearty Brunch, the day is then yours to explore the local area. On your return dinner will be served and entertainment for the evening will be provided by our house band. On the 27th December enjoy breakfast at your leisure before heading home.

Christmas Eve
Festive Hamper, Welcome to Charlton House pre-dinner mulled wine reception and Carol singing, Three Course Dinner, Midnight Mass service at Wells Cathedral with travel provided on a first come first served basis.

Christmas Day
Full English Breakfast, Four course traditional Christmas Lunch, Coffee and Mince Pies, Evening buffet supper.

Boxing Day
Hearty Brunch served until 2.00pm, Three course sharing plate Dinner, Entertainment from our House Band.

Breakfast served on the 27th December before departure.
