Regional Managers
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for co-coordinating the regions business plans
- Ensuring that the Clubs meet their sales targets, liaise closely with the General Managers to ensure planned sales activity maximises all revenue opportunities.
- Responsible for co-coordinating sound business plans & accurate interim forecasts.
- Maintain an effective control of revenue and expenditure against targets to achieve optimum financial efficiency.
People
- Communicate performance standards and expectations with direct reports, in a way that motivates the General Managers.
- Ensure General Managers adhere to peoples policies and practices in accordance with current employment legislation.
- Ensure performance management processes are established and appraisals undertaken to manage senior management team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - ability to work and interact with all levels within the Region.
- Excellent knowledge of sales processes, practices.
- Sound financial organisation/management understanding.
- Creativity, influence and achieve results.
- Commercial awareness and customer focus.
- Ability to work flexibly to suit the hours/needs of the business
Minimum Experience
- Must have multi site management experience.
- Proven Experience and evidence of operating at senior management level effectively within a targeted market environment.
- Experience/knowledge of the Leisure industry.
- Leisure management qualification is desirable.
General Managers
Key Responsibilities
- General/financial management of Club
- Ensures that the Club meets its sales target, liaise closely with the Sales/Regional manager to ensure planned sales activity maximises all revenue opportunities.
- Responsible for formulating sound business plans & accurate interim forecasts.
- Maintain an effective control of revenue and expenditure against targets to achieve optimum financial efficiency.
People
- Communicate performance standards and expectations with direct reports, in a way that motivates the team members.
- Ensure people policies and practices are adhered to and in line with current employment legislation.
- Ensure performance management processes are established and appraisals undertaken to manage senior team members and enable career development.
- Responsible for recruitment and induction of team.
Required Qualifications
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills - ability to work and interact with all levels within the Club.
- Excellent knowledge of sales processes, practices.
- Sound financial organisation/management understanding.
- Creativity, influence and achieve results.
- Commercial awareness and customer focus.
- Ability to work flexibly to suit the hours/needs of the business.
- Able to travel away from home to attend Regional meetings etc.
Minimum Experience
- Proven Experience and evidence of operating at senior management level effectively within a targeted market environment.
- Leisure management qualification is desirable.
